Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Marathon 2007 (Skopje) - Results

On Sunday May 6th 2007, the traditional Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Marathon was held in Skopje, Macedonia.

Two races, as usual were organized: Marathon and Halfmarathon. The weather conditions were almost perfect, it was cloudily and chilly. About 50 runners participated in both races. The highlight of the race was the nice old gentlemen from Poland that came especially for the marathon race. He has been to almost all countries in Europe and ran marathon in each of them. Here he achieved 3rd place and he is 64 years of age.

The winner of the marathon race was Zoran Dimov from Veles, AC Izgrev. It was his 3rd win in a row. Our congratulations to Zoran!!!
