This Saturdаy "The Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race" was the most foggy race we ever had this year as well as in the last several years ago. Dense fog didn't allow runners to have deep breaths and so the results were slower than usual. Highlight of the race was Ekalabhya who although with late start could make it up to win second place just few seconds before Kristijan. We wish warm welcome to Latina who came for the first time on the race. Here are the results. Today we have had a very inspiring Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Self-Transcendence Race. 12 runners came, the weather was nice, without fog like the days before, although all of us were missing the sun. Strong finish battle was going on on the last 200 meters between Tejal and Goran. However Goran is a much faster runner than Tejal but in this race he was just having a slow race setting a good pace to Tejal . Also Ekalabhya had an almost deadly sprint with Sashko in the last 100 meters. It was really interesting race, every one enjoyed it. Look at the results. Денес имавме интересна „Трка на себенадминување на Шри Чинмој“. На трката дојдоа 12 тркачи, времето беше одлично, немаше магла како минатите денови иако на сите ни недостигаше сонцето.

Трката ја карактеризираше силната финална битка во последните 200 метри на Теџал и Горан. Горан е побрз тркач од Теџал но овој пат само си трчаше спора трка сетирајќи добро темпо за Теџал.

Исто така Eкалабја и Сашко имаа речиси мртва трка на последните 100 метри. Навистина беше интересна трка и сите уживаа во неа. Погледнете ги резултатите.

Results of the latest 2 Mile Race in Skopje/Резултати од последната трка на 2 милји во Скопје

Winter is fast approaching, and it can be already felt from the mornings' low temperatures. However, Saturday morning is the time for the weekly „Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 2 Mile Race“. This was the case also for this time. 7 brave runners came to match their speeds and endurance with each other, but, as most important, with themselves. Here are the results as usual and some photos.

Веќе сериозно се приближува зимата; се забележува по исклучително ниските температури рано наутро. Како и да е, сабота наутро е терминот за редовната „Трка на себенадминување на Шри Чинмој “. Така беше и овој пат. 7-на тркачи се собраа да си одмерат силите со другите а секако, најважно, со самите себеси. Како и обично еве ги резултатите и неколку фотографии.

Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race Skopje (25.11.2006)

After a long time, again we will try to present you, on a weekly basis, the atmosphere of the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Self-Transcendence Race. This Saturday, quite funny, but we actually had 2 races: one at 8.00 and one at 8.30. It was quite interesting that some of the first race runners also came at the second race. From next Saturday officially that race will start at 8.30. After a long time we had also Ljupka and Irena back on the track, welcome!!! Here are the results for both of races.

После долго време повторно ќе се обидеме ви ја преставиме, на неделна база, атмосферата на Трката на себенадминување на 2 милји на Шри Чинмој. Оваа недела интересно беше што всушност имавме 2 трки: една од 8.00 и една од 8.30 часот. Уште поинтересно беше што некои од тркачите од првата трка исто така се придружија на втората трка. Од следната недела и официјално трката ќе започнува од 8.30 часот. Исто така после долго време повторно Љупка и Ирена дојдоа на трката , добредојдовте!!! Еве ги резултатите од трките.

Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race results from 29 April 2006.

New inspirational faces on the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race.

The drizzling and chilly rain didn't discourage the runners. Elena is still eagerly waiting to completly recover from the leg injure and again run the whole race. However 1km was enough to feel again the wonderful experience of the race.

From the girls the fastest was Viki and from boys Tejal.

It seems that clouds have discouraged some of the regular runners of the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race. However, although small number of runners participated, it was an interesting race with one new personal record - this time it was a new record of Toni K. And the record itself was the greatest surprise for Toni. Sincere congratulations Toni!!!

Real spring race. Beautiful sun for a beautiful day and plus it was a "Joke day" in Macedonia. Everything was nice and beautiful. Large number of runners came for the "Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race". It seems that this was a last check before the tomorrow's Cross Country Races - "Sri Chinmoy Cross-Country Races".

The winner of the race was Trpe, second was Goran and third Koce. The highlight of the race was the new personal best of Trajche.

The morning drizzling rain that stopped right before the start of the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race didn't discourage the runners to come to the race. The race itself has had it guest, it was Ashru from Austria how is former junior golf champion. Track was perfectly clean and the rain that has been falling during the night just add to the nice feeling during the run. The highlight of the race was new personal record of Ljupka. Ekalabhya although now with hand injury didn't want to miss the race as always. Elena that is still recovering from foot injury couldn't stand and ran 2 km.

Strong victory for Trpe. Also other runners have had good results. See the cute photos taken from Elena. Убедлива победа на Трпе. И останатите тркачи постигнаа добри резултати. Видете ги прекрасните фотографии на Елена.

The increased duration of day is already noticeable. The sunlight is a blessing for all and especially for active people. As nature, also man is in harmony with its rhythm or at least is trying to be.

It was an interesting race and very strong as always victory of Trpe 10.28.

Toni Dimic

Toni Dimic is coming closer and closer to his PB (12.41). This shows that he is good shape and that low temperatures can not substantially influence his shape.

Toni Dabic

Also the rest of the runners have had good results.

Irena and Sasha

As always the pride for the race, Sasha (70+) is continuing to inspire all of as and to prove in deeds Sri Chinmoy's philosophy that "Age is no barrier". Eve Irena was inspired to finish the whole race by him.

Again our gratitude to Elena for her cheering the runners, cute photos and sweet small candies for all the runners.

ТРКА НА 2 МИЛЈИ - 12 јануари 2006 год.

Сите забележуваме дека полека траењето на денот се зголемува. Ова е благослов за сите а посебно за активните луѓе. Како и целата природа така и човекот е во склад со неговиот ритам или барем се труди.

Интересна трка, убедлива победа на Трпе 10.28. Тони Димиќ полека се приближува до својот личен рекорд (12,41). Ова кажува дека е во добра форма и дека ниските температури не можам многу да му влијаат на формата.

И останатите тркачи постигнаа добри резултати. Повторно благодарност до Елена за бодрењето на тркачите, прекрасните фотографии како и малите слатки награди за сите учесници.

Toni Dimic was the winner this morning.

Toni Dimic had a very good result although this is around 1 minute far from his PB. The cold weather and one silly dog took from him the precious time for whoch he was aming with top determination. Next time we belive he will reach his top potential.

Although few runners came for the race, since the temperature was quite low (-7oC) there was nice and worm feeling. Elena came to cheer the runners although she is hardly walking due to her latest ankle injure.

She is the pure example that it is the enthusiasm that keeps us all alive, dynamic and happy.

We appology for not publishing any pictures. We had bad luck with camera bateries since they broke up due to low temperatures. Next time will be better.

Тони Димиќ имаше многу добар резултат иако околу минута далеку од неговиот личен рекорд. Ладното време и едно збудалено куче кое го нападна му го одземаа драгоценото време кон кое се стрмеше со врвна решеност. Веруваме дека следниот пат тој ќе го достигне својот максимум.

Иако само неколкумина дојдоа на трката заради ниските температури (-7оC) постоеше убава и топла атмосфера. Елена дојде да ги бодри тркачите иако одвај оди заради неодамнешната повреда на нејзиниот зглоб.Таа е чист пример за тоа дека ентузијазмот е она што не одржува живи, динамични и среќни.

За жал овој пат не можеме да ви презентираме фотографии од трката бидејќи заради ладните услови батериите на камерата откажаа. Следниот пат ќе биде подобро :)
